My vision for this blog is twofold. As a hobby nature photographer, the first is to post some of the thousands of pictures that I have taken over the years, and make them available to those few people who may have somewhat of an interest.

Second, I will, from time to time, post some of my thoughts, inspirations, concerns, etc. — whatever I want to say and when I want to say it. Some of these – perhaps many of these will reflect on current events. As someone retired who has worked in and with local, state and federal governments for over thirty years, I am horrified with what has happened politically in the United States, and what is also happening in many other parts of the world as well. And if you’re not horrified by this hate as well, you should be!

My posts will not be linear for the most part. I do not intend for this blog to be a daily chronicle of my life, so you will see content that was created years ago, as well as more current material.

Live life to the fullest, be tolerant, and have empathy and care for those not as fortunate as you.
