A foggy day at the Billy Frank Jr. National Wildlife Refuge shows ducks swimming by some small trees, once living, that are now lifeless and stark. In 2009, a dike that once protected farmland was breached to let saltwater in and expand the estuary to return to a more natural state.

This photo was taken during the summer season at Yellowstone National Park in the united states. It features a lone tree with a thin trunk that curves at the top, and has branches extending from the top upper half of the trunk that forms a concentric circles of green needles. At the top of the tree, a Red-Tail hawk perches looking over the prairie. Only the top portion of the tree is in focus, while the rest of the photo sports a blurry dreamy look.

A roadrunner is a desert bird found in desert locations like Joshua Tree National Park. This roadrunner is standing in the desert with a variety of plants and bushes surrounding it. While the picture is mostly black and white, you might see a hint of brown on the roadrunner's body.
